AI is finally here. Ubiquitous, available at the price of a Netflix subscription. Before AI, you were important because you were the knowledge worker. Now that AI has a near infinite amount of knowledge available at the click of an answer, and it's getting better, what is your role? Why your role has been eliminated yet. Will you be eliminated
Why is no one giving full control to AI to operate all their systems? There is only one reason. AI does not spit out knowledge. It spits out something we consider knowledge. And it's us humans who are supposed to be the final decider of whether what AI is telling us is knowledge or not. Even if you delegate fully to AI, even then you have to judge that AI has knowledge.
But humans have been fallible too. We know plenty of people who believe they know, but they don't. Why don't they know? And how do you know they don't know.. and that what you know is knowledge? This is the supreme question of our lifetime: how do we know that what we know is knowledge?
Many people have an intuition for what knowledge is, so they perform better, and that intuition has made us both successes and failures. But we can't rely on intuition. We need a clearly defined method for what is knowledge, and what is merely pseudo-knowledge, or nonsense. This is the domain of epistemology.. and it matters most today.
It was important yesterday too. Back then we were dealing with human agents, consultants, architecture advisors.. how did we know they had knowledge? Many fooled us knowing we could be fooled. Many fooled us with the right intent. It was applicable then. It's far more important now.. this question of knowledge, for executives, for every human.
In this talk, Manish will force you to realize that your intuition of what is knowledge, and what is pseudo-knowledge or nonsense, is right at times and fails miserably at other times.. without you knowing which is which. He will then give you a method. A method with which you rebuild that intuition.. of how you know that what you know is knowledge.
And did we mention understanding? What's the difference between knowledge and understanding? Is understanding just a bundle of knowledge? Not really. All leaders lead the world with understanding. So how do you know that what you understand is understanding, and not pseudo-understanding, or nonsense?
These are the topics Manish will discuss. No nonsense, no fluff. You might not agree with him, but it will not be nonsense. And to some degree you may not agree, because he doesn't say what appeals to you.. he says what he thinks is right.
Maybe it's time to ask the one question underneath every other question you've ever asked. And not just the executives.. this isn't a knowledge-worker problem, it's a human one. Anyone who has ever believed they knew something is already staking their life on the answer, which means everyone.
This will be game changing for you.
Call us. Let's talk about how you know what you know.
